Word Tiles
Word Tiles is a free crossword-style tile game you can play online against the computer or a friend. Drag lettered tiles onto the 15x15 board, link them to the words already there, and use double and triple squares to score big. It is a word game vs computer with three levels, a daily game and pass-and-play, a scrabble-style word game made for a phone.
How to play
- Drag tiles from your rack onto the board (or tap a tile, then a square). The first word covers the star.
- Every word you make must be in the dictionary and link to tiles already on the board. The live preview shows the score.
- Tap Play. Swap or pass if you are stuck. The game ends when the tiles run out.
Tips
- Pinch or double-tap to zoom in on a tight spot.
- Save double and triple word squares for long words, and try for all 7 tiles (+50).
- Keep a wild tile and the letter S for a big turn.
Questions
Which words are allowed?
A large English word list (ENABLE, about 172,000 words); names and abbreviations are not.
Can I play a friend?
Yes: Pass and Play on one phone, or a room.
Is there a daily game?
Yes, one shared game each day with a streak.
