Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026. This policy covers Quick Break Games (quickbreakgames.com), designed and operated by ShareSpace Technologies LLC. It is separate from the ShareGreet app and website.
The short version
- You can play without an account and without giving your name or email.
- If you sign in with Google, we save your scores and favourites to your account.
- If you join a room, other players see the nickname you type.
- We use basic statistics to see which games people play. We do not sell your information.
What we collect, and why
- On your device: your best scores, coins, streak, favourites and settings are saved in your browser's storage so the games remember you. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Rooms: when you host or join a room, we store the room code, the game, the nickname you type and the scores in that round. We use a random anonymous ID to tell players apart. Rooms are removed automatically about a day after they are made. Anonymous IDs that are not used for 30 days are removed.
- Google sign-in (optional): if you sign in, Google tells us your name, email address and a user ID. We use your name and ID to save your scores, coins, streak and favourites to your account so they follow you to other devices. Your sign-in details are held by Google's Firebase Authentication.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message are sent to our support inbox so we can reply. We keep the emails as long as needed to help you.
- Statistics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and which games and pages are used. It uses cookies or similar technology and collects information such as your browser, device type, approximate location from your network address and pages visited.
- Spam protection: the contact form and sign-in use Cloudflare Turnstile and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (through Firebase App Check) to tell people from bots. They may look at your browser and network details for this. We also keep a count of messages per network address, in an anonymous form, to stop abuse.
Who sees what
- Other players in a room see your nickname and score, nothing else.
- We do not run chat, and we do not show your email or Google name to other players.
- Our service providers process data for us: Google (Firebase hosting, database, sign-in, Analytics and reCAPTCHA), Cloudflare (Turnstile) and our email provider.
- We do not sell personal information. If we add advertising in future, we will update this page first.
Children
The games are made to be family friendly, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Children should use the site with an adult, and should use a nickname rather than a real name. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Play without signing in, and clear your browser storage at any time.
- Sign out from the menu at the top right.
- To see, correct or delete the data tied to your Google sign-in, email support@quickbreakgames.com from the same address and we will help.
- You can block cookies in your browser. The games still work.
Security and where data is held
Data is held on Google's servers, mostly in the United States. We limit what we collect and use access rules so that players can only change their own entries. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this page. The date above shows the latest version.
