Squash Circuit

An original procedural 3D squash court with articulated racket athletes, enclosed glass walls and 48 seeded solo circuits. Player and rival alternate contacts with one gravity-driven ball: front-wall clearance, the tin, sloping side out-lines, back-wall rebounds, racket reach and the second floor bounce really decide rallies. Start with straight drives and crosscourt angles; drops arrive in circuit 5 and high lobs in circuit 13. Later opponents react sooner, cover more ground and make depth and T recovery more important. Hold a shot for assisted footwork and buffered contacts, or drag on the court to choose a recovery position. Win first to 3, 4 or 5 points, or lead when the 75-second clock expires; draws require another attempt. Best score, earned stars and circuit unlocks save on this device. The UTC Daily uses a date-seeded court and awards a streak only for a win. Friends compare separate, identical seeded solo matches, not simultaneous human play on one court. This is simplified arcade training: service foot-faults, interference and let calls are not officiated, and athletes do not physically collide.

How to play

  1. Hold DRIVE to serve, chase and swing with automatic feet. CROSS sends the ball across the front wall; release and tap again to time a buffered contact. The gold diamond marked 1 shows the first floor bounce.
  2. Drag anywhere on the court to choose your position. Tap T to recover toward the central T; switch FEET to MANUAL for full positioning. Return before the second floor bounce and only after the previous shot reaches the front wall.
  3. Unlock DROP in circuit 5 and LOB in circuit 13. Keyboard: 1–4 select/hold shots, Space holds the selected shot, arrows move, T recovers, and Escape pauses. Pause offers deliberate resume, retry and menu recovery.

Questions

Do friends share one live court?

No. Each human plays one separate solo match with identical seeded court settings and AI. Points, clean contacts, T recoveries and a winning time bonus determine the comparison score. The shared Kit supplies rooms, the Pip scoreboard character and the final podium; Pip is not the athlete on your court.

Which squash rules are simulated?

Alternating racket contacts require legal reach and height after the front-wall rebound. Tin, front/side/back out boundaries, gravity, rebounds and two floor bounces determine points. These are short arcade matches with simplified player-started training serves; service officiating, body collisions and interference/let calls are omitted.

How do the Daily and saving work?

All players get the same UTC date seed. Only a winning Daily advances its start-date streak, at most once that day; consecutive dates extend it and a missed day resets it. Older overlapping runs cannot overwrite a newer streak. Unlocks, stars and best score persist, not unfinished animation frames.

What happens if I change tabs or lose WebGL?

The court pauses when hidden and requires deliberate resume. Pause also offers retry and menu outside friend rooms. Missing WebGL or context loss displays an actionable reload message; restored contexts and browser history/BFCache returns keep the render loop alive and the court paused.
