Next in Line
Next in Line is a free pattern puzzle. Each puzzle shows a row of numbers or emoji with a missing last step, and you pick the one that continues the rule. Twelve puzzles per run, from easy adding and repeating pictures to doubling jumps and hidden primes.
How to play
- Read the row and work out the rule.
- Tap one of the four answers before the 20 second timer ends.
- Read the one-line explanation, then go on to the next puzzle.
Tips
- Look at the differences between neighbours first.
- If two patterns seem to alternate, check every other term.
- Use Hint only when stuck. It names the rule type but cuts the points by 40%.
Questions
Are the puzzles random?
They come from the daily seed, so everyone on the same day or in the same room sees the same puzzles.
Can a wrong answer also fit a rule?
No. Each puzzle is checked so only one answer fits.
How does scoring work?
Faster answers score more, and a streak multiplies points.
