Mine Sweep
Mine Sweep is a number-clue puzzle against the clock. Each number tells you how many mines touch that square. Open the safe squares, flag the mines and clear one board after another. A mistake costs time, a cleared board earns it back.
How to play
- Tap a covered square to open it. A number counts the mines touching it.
- Hold a square to plant a flag, or switch to Flag mode. Tap a number that has enough flags to open all its other neighbours.
- Open every safe square to clear the board and get a bigger one.
Tips
- Start next to a 1: it is usually the easiest to work out.
- A mine you hit costs 8 seconds, so use the lantern when you are really stuck.
- Combos build when you open squares without hitting a mine.
Questions
Is the first tap safe?
Yes. Every board opens with a free patch, so you never start with a guess.
What does the lantern do?
It opens one safe square for you. You earn one for each board you clear, up to two.
Do we get the same boards in a room?
Yes. Boards come from a seed, so everyone races on the same ones.
