Mind Meld
Mind Meld is a think-alike game for teams. Each round shows a prompt, such as something you pack for a beach day, and eight cards. Everyone secretly picks up to two cards before the timer ends, then all the picks flip together. Cards chosen by two or more teammates glow and score, and the more people on the same card, the more points. Keep the team's hearts and your streak alive as the prompts get vaguer.
How to play
- Read the prompt and the eight cards.
- Pick up to two cards before the timer ring runs out. Nobody sees your picks yet.
- Lock in, then watch the picks flip. Cards picked by two or more players score.
- Keep the meld meter full and your hearts alive.
Tips
- Think about what most people would say, not what you would.
- Picking two cards is a good way to hedge.
- Twist rounds change the rules: Wild, Rival and Speed. Read the banner.
- In a team room, each team melds separately on the same prompts.
Questions
Can I play alone?
Yes. Your computer teammates pick with a bit of personality, and a Crowd joins in so a solo game still has matches.
What costs a heart?
A round without a strong enough match. The status line shows how many people need to agree.
How many prompts are there?
Over sixty, from very obvious to vague. They are shuffled by the room's seed.
