Courtyard paused

Kung Fu Forms

An original, fictional form-practice game, not real-world martial-arts instruction. Direction controls physically move and turn your athlete; holding sinks into a deep stance and releasing rises into a tall one. Position, facing, stance depth and stable hold time at the chime determine each success. Forty-eight seeded routines grow from six to thirteen stances, introducing varied turns, variable tempo and brief remembered cues. Best score, earned stars and unlocked routines save on this device. UTC Daily uses one shared date seed and only an achieved win advances the streak. Friends compare identical seeded solo routines, not synchronous athletes sharing a courtyard.

How to play

  1. Watch the teal teacher and gold footprints. Tap the matching compass arrow to step and turn; arrows or WASD also work.
  2. For TALL, release the arrow. For DEEP, keep holding through the chime. The progress rail shows when to settle.
  3. Hold enough stances to finish the routine, earn stars and unlock the next. Pause deliberately, retry the same routine or practice the previous one.

Questions

Is this official choreography or combat coaching?

No. All routines are original generated fictional movement exercises. There are no attacks, injuries or real-world combat instructions.

Do friends share one courtyard?

No. Three or more room players independently perform the same seeded routine and compare skill scores. Optional Pip is the shared platform's scoreboard computer, not a simulated athlete in your scene.

What is saved?

Unlocked routines, best score, earned stars and Daily streak. Unfinished animation frames are not saved. Hidden tabs, graphics context recovery and BFCache returns require deliberate resume.

How long is a routine?

Tested generated routines take approximately 18–27 seconds. Retry and progression can extend a play session. Each room performs one finite routine, then waits for the final podium.
