FreeCell Solitaire
FreeCell Solitaire is the classic card game where you move all 52 cards to four piles using four free cells and eight columns. This free online FreeCell has numbered deals, and a solver checks every deal so it can always be won. Tap a card to play it or drag runs. Undo as often as you like, ask for a hint, and try the daily deal.
How to play
- Build columns downward in alternating colours, like a red 7 on a black 8.
- Park single cards in the four free cells, and move runs as far as your free cells and empty columns allow.
- Send each suit from Ace to King to its pile at the top right.
Tips
- Empty a column early, because an empty column is worth more than a free cell.
- Do not fill all four free cells unless the next move frees one.
- Dig out the Aces and 2s first, and use Hint only when stuck, since it costs 20 points.
Questions
Is every deal winnable?
Yes. A solver checks each deal, and the known unsolvable deals such as #11982 are skipped.
How is the score worked out?
1000 for a win, plus bonuses for speed and few moves, minus points for Undo and Hint.
Can I replay a deal?
Yes. Use Pick deal # to enter any number from 1 to 1,000,000.
