Click Speed Test
Click Speed Test is a free CPS test that measures how many clicks per second you can do on a mouse, touchscreen or spacebar. Pick a 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 second round, then see your average CPS, your best second, how steady your rhythm was and a Sloth-to-Comet rank. Try the 10-second daily challenge or race friends in a room.
How to play
- Choose a test length and press Start.
- Tap, click or press space as fast as you can; the timer starts on your first tap.
- Check your clicks per second, peak second and rank, then try to beat your best.
Tips
- Use two or more fingers on a phone, since every touch counts.
- Keep a steady rhythm.
- Short tests allow higher CPS than long ones.
Questions
What is a good CPS?
Most people click about 4 to 7 times a second. 8 to 10 is fast, and 10 or more usually needs jitter or butterfly clicking.
Does multi-touch count?
Yes, each finger counts.
Do auto-clickers work?
No. Taps under 1 ms apart are ignored and scores are capped at 30 clicks per second.
