Backgammon
Backgammon is the classic race-and-hit board game for two. Play free online against the computer at Easy, Medium or Hard, with seeded 3D dice, the bar, bearing off, and gammon and backgammon bonuses (no doubling cube). Try the daily game, or share a board with a friend.
How to play
- Tap Roll, then tap a glowing checker and a glowing point to move each die.
- Hit a lone enemy checker to send it to the bar, and enter your own bar checkers first.
- Bring all 15 home, then bear them off before the rival.
Tips
- Make points in pairs to block the rival.
- Do not leave single checkers within easy shot.
- Use Hint to learn good plays.
Questions
Is there a doubling cube?
No; a gammon counts x2 and a backgammon x3.
Do I have to use both dice?
Yes, if you can; if only one die fits you must play the larger.
Can I undo?
Yes, within your turn.
